In celebration of the release of Chris Plain's debut mixtape "Nothing New Under Tha Sun" (can be copped on datpiff.com)

Being that it is All Star Weekend that means we finally get to see the UNDFTD x adidas Originals Forum Mid “All Star 2011″. The sneak peek image showed a lot of promise and the big reveal lets us know that we were on the right page by thinking so.

Black suede trimmed in White leather gives this Forum Mid a very strong visual presence. If that isn’t enough to catch your eye the White strap with Red and Blue stripes or the Silver embroidered NBA logo on the heel are great touches. The kicker comes in the form of a White pouch bearing Black stars that can be attached to the laces. These are out today at UNDFTD stores.

and also

It is hard to believe that the Air Jordan III was released back in 1988. However, despite its age, the allure of the AJ3 remains strong amongst sneakerheads. As part of their Sample Closet series, Foot Locker Unlocked is taking us back to 1994, when the first retro of the AJ3 dropped. Available now on eBay.

As seen in the images, the iconic shape of the sneaker has not changed over the years and the materials look the same also. A soft black leather covers the upper and only gives way to the elephant print on the rear and around to toe box. Down below we have a white midsole, and just below that we have a grey outsole. For you history buffs, this is the year that Jordan won his first MVP, and one of the years in which he won the Slam Dunk contest. Does anyone out there have a retro from 1994? How about 2001? 2008?
